World Book Day Celebrations

Students and staff celebrated World Book Day with a range of creative and book-inspired activities across the school. One highlight of the day was our “Shirt Stories” competition, where pupils designed T-shirts based on their favourite books.

Forms also took part in our “Decorate Your Door” competition, transforming classroom doors into scenes from their favourite books. From magical worlds to classic tales, the displays brought corridors to life and celebrated the joy of reading.

At lunchtime, the library was buzzing with activity. Students entered a 100-word story competition, designed their own bookmarks, and took part in a book swap, giving them the chance to exchange books they had already read for something new.

It was a fantastic day that celebrated creativity, storytelling, and a shared love of reading – a fun day had by all!
